  • What are the Manhattan University Pre-College Courses?
    The Manhattan University Pre-College courses are a unique opportunity for high school students in grades 11th and 12th to explore academic interests, gain hands-on experience, and get a taste of college life during a two-week summer immersion experience on our New York City campus. These courses could be taken as audit (non-credit) or for-credit (3 undergraduate University credits).
  • What can participants expect from the courses?
    Participants can expect to experience the intellectual and social demands of post-secondary education in subject areas required to succeed in university. They will work with qualified and caring Manhattan University faculty and administrators, as well as alumni. The program is offered in-person.
  • What does the program schedule look like?
    Each course runs from Monday through Thursday. The daily schedule includes classes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • What are the accommodation and meal arrangements?
    Those staying on campus (residential add-on option: Room & Board only) will have after-class activities to socialize with other national and international participants. Visits to New York City’s iconic locations have an additional cost. They will also be provided three meals a day at the on-campus cafeteria.

    If the residential add-on is requested, the program includes after-class activities (at additional fees) at places like the American Museum of Natural History, Broadway Musical Shows, Empire State, Ellis Island, Intrepid Museum, the Statue of Liberty, and the 9/11 Memorial.
