
Pi Sigma Alpha was founded in 1920 in order to promote scholarship and academic excellence in government, political science, public administration and international relations. The national organization offers awards for outstanding research papers, scholarships for graduate school and a national student conference. The Manhattan University chapter, Omicron Epsilon, was incorporated in 1984.
Eligibility
To qualify for membership, undergraduates must:
- have a minimum of 15 credits in political science courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in those classes.
- be ranked in the upper third of their class (which generally requires a 3.5 overall GPA).
