Manhattan University Names Robyn L. Salvo Chief Human Resources Officer

Proven Data-Driven HR Executive Will Be Member of the President’s Cabinet

Manhattan University today announced that Robyn L. Salvo has been named the Vice President of Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting to the Provost and becoming a member of the President’s Cabinet. She will be responsible for all aspects of human resources and will assist in advancing the University’s mission as a Lasallian Catholic institution.

photo of Robyn SalvoSalvo comes to Manhattan University with extensive experience, having served as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Monmouth University, NJ. During her 18-year tenure there, she oversaw all facets of human resources, including talent management; compensation and benefits administration; leave administration; wellness initiatives; training and development; employee relations; and federal, state, and institutional HR compliance. She also implemented several HR system modules creating efficiencies and served as the Senior HR Advisor to the executive leadership team.

Salvo is a National Board Member and Chair (2024-2025) of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. She holds an MBA from Monmouth University and a BA in Mathematics from the College of New Jersey.
